Synway's session border controllers (SBCs) deliver seamless connectivity, enhanced security and quality assurance for enterprise and service provider VoIP networks. In the enterprise environment, SBCs form an effective demarcation point between the business’s VoIP network and the service provider’s SIP trunk, performing SIP protocol mediation and media handling (interoperability), and securing the enterprise VoIP network. In the service provider core, Synway's SBCs can function as peering SBCs between operator networks or as access SBCs delivering security and protocol normalization. The Synway's SBCs family includes a range of platforms that offer cost-effective SBC and hybrid functionality (SIP to TDM, SIP to SIP).

Synway Session Border Controller (SBC) products deliver high interoperability, survivability and security to connect enterprises and branch offices with their IP-based communications platforms. Based at the business premises, Synway SBC functions as demarcation point between enterprise network and external SIP-based services, such as SIP trunking or hosted IP-PBX, unified communications and other applications.


To protect communications reliability, Synway SBCs also support High Availability (HA) to ensure uninterrupted communications in a range of scalability, by enabling secure and reliable connectivity of remote users with a centralized communications platform, such as UC, IP-PBX or IP contact center architecture.
