At Cebit 2009, Synway's engineers, with one of its distributor based in UK, showcased its broad range of product lines as well as its latest Asterisk-based telephony hardware for high-traffic participants. Designed to support Asterisk, Trixbox, FreeSwitch, Elastix and other mainstream open sources applications, Synway's analog/digital telephony boards enable software developers and IP-PBX vendors to deliver high-scalability, robust, cost effective IP-PBXs or other open-source solutions which comparable hardware does not support. Specifically designed for Telco-grade applications, these Asterisk-enabling platforms leverage Synway's patent-pending echo-cancellation technology (has been field-proven in a variety of complex environments worldwide), and can scale up to simultaneous 480-channel call processing per system. Moreover, it costs only 50 percent of some competitive products, which not only relieves application developers from cost pressure, but also brings about more reasonable margin for distributors and resellers. Since being released (first-generation) in 2003, Synway-branded Asterisk-enabling telephony boards have been used in most open-sources solutions in over 30 regions and countries, including IP-PBXs, call center, IVR, voice mail and media gateway. Synway's engineers also are well trained to provide prompt technical support and services, including installation, configuration and development and customization for users worldwide. Synway's hardware for Asterisk and other open source applications is immediately available via its global sales channels now. 

Synway, together with software developers & operators from worldwide, explored the technical trends in ever-changing environments at Cebit 2009. Passionate about potential market demands, Synway will continue its all-in-one strategy in NDP (New Product Development) to integrate all of media processing resources (Video/Voice/Data) and signaling technologies (SIP/SS7/ISDN/CAS) into product design, in order to adopt to the complex network environments.(3G/IP/TDM) worldwide. At Cebit, we have reached agreements with Europe-based system integrators to expand our SS7 packets to application layers, such as INAP and MAP, in order to minimize development investment/cycle for Telco SMS and CRBT applications.
