Synway, specializing in designing scalable and highly available hardware/software building blocks for use in media processing and signaling applications, further strengthened connection with existing partners and established new relationships with prospective clients in Convergence India2008, an international exhibition platform for communications enterprises. For a complete range of Synway's products used for multimedia processing, signaling and passive logging, service providers, applications developers and telecom equipment providers were highly interested on setting up long-term cooperation with Synway to deliver a range of cost effective, flexible, high performance PSTN-based and IP-based applications.
In this event, Synway showcased its new IP media processing architecture SHN, which caters to ultimate VoIP demands in IP networks. Together with Synway's PSTN media processing and signaling hardware SHD, SHN can form a high scalability, high performance, Telco-proven turkey solution for VoIP applications developers who need to connect their service or applications to legacy PSTN networks. In hybrid IP and PSTN networks, a new range of applications can be realized by Synway's combined IP and PSTN access technologies, including call center, IVR, prepaid card service, conferencing, voicemail, faxmail, unified messaging, gateway functionality and a host of next generation features.
In addition to IP architecture, Synway specifically exhibited its robust digital PSTN series for value-added applications developers. An integrated part of Synway's proven technology, Synway's built-in SS7 capability eliminates the need for an independent SS7 server to access to SS7 network, and can be used for multiple SS7 links (96links), high-density (64E1), and hot swappable Telco-grade applications. Its enhanced built-in resources include conferencing, fax, compression protocols, echo cancellation, call control, etc.
With Telco-application developers in this event, Synway has further understood specific Indian Telco-grade demands, and will continue to focus resources on building brand and improving RSCI (Reliability, Scalability, Customizability and Interoperability) of its existing and next-generation hardware components. By so doing, Synway will make its offerings more cost effective and flexible in demanding Telco-grade applications and services in changeable IP and PSTN networks.
To protect clients' investment, Synway continues to implement its market strategy through directly selling its products and delivering a range of technical supports to its existing or new clients. Besides service and products optimization, Synway will further integrate signaling protocols and all of multimedia processing capabilities such as video, into its product design, and enable service providers and applications developers to deliver a new suite of revenue-generating value-added applications, such as media gateway, prepaid card service, network announcement. To cover middle or small sized clients, Synway plans to simplify logistics by launching local presence for convenient replacement service and shipment.
Like all other Synway's regional markets, India is a very booming business site, and Synway has established close technical and commercial relationship with many applications developers, service providers, and TEPs due to tangible advantages: matchless pricing point, service orientation, technology-concentric and feature-richness.
